A Million Tears

Let the sky wash away our sorrows child

Tomorrow we shall rise

With a newborn’s eyes

And redefine the present day

The day of drowning has past

The pounding skull

Has reached it’s lull

And the mind has found a better way

You may have cried a million tears

With ripped emotions

A lost devotion

But the heart finds it’s reasons to stay

What tomorrow brings, I’ve seen before

Through lucid dreams

My spirit’s clean

And my life’s a soft, wet, lump of clay
