Entrails

…and so the story goes…
Talks, discussions, tried and failed.
The thought process gone but
Was it ever there?
Seems to me that small minds
Couldn’t see past their condition
And so all their demands were: more conditions
Rules and choices and opinions were omnipresent
Knowledge, history and understanding were not invited
and it showed.

The blinkered went head to head
The great flood of misinformation ensued
Each side too blind, deaf and loud
Bold and ignorant
Stubborn and defiant
Childish and self serving
A true spectacle for the senses
Leading nowhere we haven’t been before
A touch more gloss
A bit more tech
An old buzz renamed
and on with the show.
