These cycles are all we understand for they reflect our births, lives and departures from existence. We love and burn each counted breath knowing that one final exhalation will carry us on that final journey we fear yet must learn to embrace to be able to overcome the pangs of rebirth.

The sun sets on another dead day and those familiar old demons stir with the encroaching darkness. Minions stroll the streets in pursuit of entertainment while the enslaved slip in to towering buildings to clean and prepare the machine for another round of economics. Every movement is recorded by thousands of cameras so that the dark lords can track their underlings without ever having to make contact with them. This is the stage we have reached with our social contract. It is the price of progress and the foundations of our future but has the functioning changed since the time of our ancestors?
Humanity has come a long way in appearance yet since its inception the thought process has remained cannibalistic in nature. First we lost our souls to industry. Then we lost our minds in its circuitry and while this was happening the old cults found ways to survive and maintain their stranglehold on what is left of our spirit.
Ideals and notions of hope have been nurtured by ignorance and promoted through fear or desire for centuries. It’s a tried and tested method that fits any dress code or rule book.
The darkness never really left no matter how brightly the enlightened few shone through our collective history. Cavemen in suits run every stage and side show within our parasitical civilisations and have done for generations. Their incestuous regimes marry and murder each other at their convenience while using the lives of the masses as tools or bargaining chips. They are slaves to their greed and chained down by their short sight and condescending manner but they are not the ones who truly suffer. Although a prison cell is freedom’s tomb no matter how gilded its bars may be.
Ultimately our technological progress has surpassed the voice of reason. The planet has become too small for the suicidal path chosen by our kind. We have a hundred and one ways to destroy life yet still no cure for the common cold. We wasted our day but for what? For whom? Which God, Philosophy or political ideal limited our minds in such a manner? Which chosen path were we forced to walk until the Sun set and died?
Now I know some of you have read 22 Secrets while others have promised themselves to get around to it one day. Well Psy Co. is here to help out those of you who still sign their name with the letter X by making an audio version of the text.
I’ve spent the last few weeks working on the artwork and web design for this project which will also cross over in to the video version of 22 Secrets. I also laid down the general purpose of Psychological Company (Psy-Co.). The project in itself is a vox solum audio log of stories and poetry related to Mirrors and Black Magic. You can expect adaptations of full texts as well as presentations of ideas that didn’t quite make the fold or went off in too much of a tangent to fit in to MABM’s global concept.
The first four releases will be adaptations and part of what I’m calling the Carnegie Stages of development. The Carnegie Stages in biology are the development from a single cell to the formation of the spine within mammals and the artwork that I’m publishing just now follows that way of thinking as we go from the single idea to the formation of the Book of Mirrors and Black Magic. This is the ground work, the spit balling and the long sleepless nights getting ideas to fit concepts and artwork to fit atmosphere. Where it will go form there only the great budget in the sky can tell.
As I’m doing more animation than originally planned for the 22 secrets videos, I’m spending more time than intended on little storyboards. Everything is being created at sixty frames per second with some sections with up to five layers on screen meaning 300 images need to be in place for each second of footage. The storyboards cut down the margin of error and prevent the: Oh fuck I forgot that bit! moment, after render.
…and there was one golden rule: Always keep an open mind.
The most of everything is nothing. Charges and cores spin in the void to make all that matters. The rest has neither light, nor sound nor meaning. Yet this big empty makes up the majority of all we will ever know. It is omnipresent and the canvas upon which all that exists is painted.
